Welcome to To-Do List App (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our to-do list and task management app.

Your privacy is important to us. This app is designed to collect minimal or NO personal data.

2. Information We Collect

We do NOT collect any personal information from you.

All your tasks, to-do items, checklists, and notes are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your tasks, and we do not upload them to any server.

Types of data we do NOT collect:

- Name, email address, phone number, or location

- Device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, MAC address, Android ID)

- Your tasks, notes, or to-do lists

- Usage statistics or crash logs (unless you enable optional analytics)

- Contacts, files, photos, or calendar

3. Permissions Used

Our to-do list app may request the following permissions only if necessary:

- None by default – The core app (adding, editing, deleting tasks) requires no permissions.

Optional permissions (if you enable certain features):

- Notification permission – To send you task reminders (you will be asked to allow this)

- Storage permission – If you add attachments or backup/restore your tasks (you will be asked first)

You can deny any permission and still use the basic task management features.

4. Data Storage & Security

All your tasks and to-do lists are stored locally on your device using internal storage or a local database (like SQLite or Room).

We do not:

- Upload your tasks to any cloud server

- Sync your tasks across devices (unless you enable optional cloud backup in a future update)

- Share your tasks with any third party

Your data never leaves your phone. Since we collect no data on our servers, there is no risk of your data being lost, leaked, or misused from our side.

Important: If you uninstall the app or clear app data, your tasks will be deleted. We recommend not storing sensitive information like passwords in this app.

5. Backups & Syncing (Optional Future Features)

Currently, this app does not support cloud backup or device syncing.

If we add optional features like:

- Google Drive backup

- Cloud sync across devices

You will be clearly informed, and you must explicitly enable and consent to these features. Any such addition will be disclosed in an updated privacy policy.

6. Third-Party Services (Ads / Analytics)

This app does NOT use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services by default.

If we ever add advertisements (e.g., Google AdMob) in a future update, that service may collect:

- Ad ID (resettable by user)

- IP address (for ad targeting, if you consent)

Any such addition will be clearly disclosed in an updated privacy policy, and you will see a consent request inside the app.

Currently: No third-party SDKs are used.

7. Notifications & Reminders

If you enable notifications for task reminders:

- Reminders are scheduled locally on your device

- No reminder data is sent to any server

- You can disable notifications anytime from your device settings or within the app

8. Children's Privacy

Our app is safe for children (all ages). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Because we collect nothing, no parental consent is required.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and update the "Last Updated" date.

Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
